About Me

Discover the story, mission, and heart behind Vitality + Vision where transformation, clarity, and energy begin

This is me, Amy

That photo you're looking at? I'm 49 years old, in a hospital bed. I've just been diagnosed with cancer. Months later, I have a stroke.
"My greatest fear wasn't dying. My greatest fear was that my body would start telling a story my voice could no longer share."
Gratefully, I recovered without long-term deficits. No one meeting me for the first time would guess what my nervous system has walked through. But I know. Because after that, the little things stopped being “little”:
That brush with mortality cracked me open. It gave me a different kind of x-ray vision — not just for my own life, but for every woman who sits across from me and says, “I’m fine,” when her nervous system is screaming otherwise.

Backstory: how I accidentally became that person women tell the truth to

I didn’t set out to be a coach, speaker, or podcast host.
In 2005, a friend needed a student so she could complete her Reiki Master certification.
I said yes because she needed help, not because I had some grand life plan. But something shifted.
I felt calmer. Less reactive. More patient. Like someone had handed me a dimmer switch for my own nervous system and said, “Here, you actually do get a say in this.”
I started volunteering as a Reiki practitioner with cancer patients — sitting beside chemo chairs and hospital beds, offering support during treatment and at end of life.
I started volunteering as a Reiki practitioner with cancer patients — sitting beside chemo chairs and hospital beds, offering support during treatment and at end of life.
Eventually, I opened Pediatric Reiki Las Vegas , which grew into:
What I didn’t realize was that, quietly, I was becoming something else:
The person women told the truth to when they were tired of pretending, that they were okay.

The Mothers

Here’s what years of working with kids taught me:
A child’s nervous system almost always mirrors the state of the mother.
Session after session, I’d ask the mother simple questions:
“How are you doing?”
“What’s the energy like at home right now?”
“What’s actually keeping you up at night?”
And the stories would come:
The marriage that looks perfect on Instagram but feels like two roommates passing in the dark.
The career that pays well but drains the soul.
The resentment toward in-laws, bosses, or partners that never gets voiced.
The invisible load of being “the one who holds it all together.”
These weren’t quick, cute conversations.
They were Mama Bear confessions.
Women came in for their kids’ care — and walked out having cracked open something in their own lives.
I started offering “Mama Bear Care” sessions: half Reiki, half coaching. Powerful? Yes. But there was a problem:
They were drop-ins.

A few sessions here. A few there. Then life got busy, and they disappeared — only to return months later, back in the same patterns.

It was like watching someone go to the gym once a month, look at the dumbbells, maybe do two sets of bicep curls… and then wonder why nothing was changing.
That’s when it hit me:
Healing is not a spa day.

Transformation is not a drive thru.

And courage is not built in “whenever I get around to it” appointments.

Real change needs something different:

A child's nervous system almost always mirrors the state of the mother.

The Epiphany: Why the usual coaching and healing rooms weren’t enough

I’ve invested in coaching myself — high-level, expensive, powerful coaching.

I learned how to grow a business.

I learned how to think bigger.

I met incredible women.

But there were two gaps I couldn’t ignore:

1. Traditional healing spaces were often labeled “woo-woo.” Lots of incense and intention… not enough integration with the nervous system, the brain, or real-world demands.

2. Traditional coaching spaces focused on business, goals, and revenue — while ignoring the spiritual and energetic realities underneath.

My clients — women just like you — were living at the intersection of both. They didn’t need:

They needed a system that honored all of them:

The Creation of Vitality + Vision

I created Vitality + Vision for one reason:

I refuse to watch capable, brilliant women drift through a life that doesn’t fit them anymore.

For nearly two decades, I’ve watched:

It’s a coaching ecosystem designed for women who are ready to:

It’s not a “come when you feel like it” situation.

It’s a deep, structured, high-accountability container for women who are done living by default.

OK, finally… the facts

If you’re like my clients, you probably want receipts. So, here are a few:
And now, the work I’m most proud of:
Vitality + Vision — a coaching ecosystem built specifically for women who want their outer success and inner life to finally match.

Future Vision:
Where this is all going

My vision is to license the Vitality + Vision Method and bring it to women around the world:

Because this isn’t just about feeling better

It’s about becoming the woman who can hold the life she secretly knows she’s meant for.

You will not be asked to abandon your spirituality, your ambition, or your humanity.

The Promise

If you step into this work with me, here’s what I can promise:
You will not be coddled.
You will not be asked to abandon your spirituality, your ambition, or your humanity.
You will not be allowed to disappear into the background of your own life.
You will be:

If you do this work, you will never again have to pretend you’re “fine” while silently falling apart inside.

Today

Today, I’m a cancer survivor, a stroke survivor, a wife, a mother to many, a coach, a nervous

system nerd, and a woman who refuses to waste whatever time I have left playing small.

I still feel the sun on my face with reverence.

I still listen to trains at night.

I still laugh loudly with people I love.

And I still believe — fiercely — that your story isn’t over yet.

That’s why I built Vitality + Vision.

And that’s why I’d be honored to walk alongside you as you write your next chapter.

Ready to begin

Your life doesn't change by accident. It changes by decision.
If something in you is whispering, "This is for me," — listen.
This is that moment. Let's make it together.
